1. What is uQudos?
   uQudos.com is an online gaming platform. It brings games developers and players together on the Web. Here at uQudos (talented) game developers have the opportunity to show the games that they have developed to the public. Gamers can play the user created games (new and otherwise), and express their opinion about them or share their views with other gamers. It is a platform for amateur/home-based developers and (semi-)professional games studios. It is a simple matter for them to upload their creations. uQudos also provides a remuneration system for developers. The more frequently games are played and the higher they are rated, the more popular they become and the larger the income. uQudos can also be used by larger, independent studios to test new gaming concepts amongst a broad public.



2. What information is collected?
   The information which uQudos collects can be broken down into the following categories:
   
   1. Personal details including your email address. You will provide this information if you decide to avail yourself of any of the various options which uQudos offers, such as chatting, leaving messages about games and rating them, leaving information in our forums, when registering for newsletters and participating in competitions, and when providing information for the website (for example, when uploading a game). uQudos requests certain financial information in order to make payments of revenue shares and contest fees.
   2. Information which is collected about and for your use of the website with the aid of “cookies” or other techniques. uQudos may collect information about your use of the website, for example, your IP address, your browser, the forums which you visit, what you visit and how regularly you do so. If you log in using your own account, uQudos can link information which it obtains to your account.
   3. Information about others. You may invite other people to join you in your activities on the uQudos website. To do this you will supply your name and email address and the email address of the person to whom you would like to extend an invitation. This information is only used to send an email message to the relevant contact and will not be stored by uQudos.
      
      Public information!
      If you decide to disclose information in a public venue, such as a chat room or forum, or if you upload a game, uQudos will treat that information as part of the public domain. This information will be accessible to any person who uses the uQudos website. You can create your own profile/account. The information you disclose in that respect will also become publicly accessible. In order to make your own profile/account you must disclose: your username, age, sex, country and place of residence. You may also disclose other personal data such as your first and last name, but that is not obligated for making a profile/account. By making a profile/account you explicitly consent to the above. If you do not want the mentioned information to become public, you can choose not to create your own profile/account. Playing games and entering the community is then still possible, only additional functions will be absent.



3. Why does uQudos collect information?
   uQudos uses personal details and other information to guarantee the general and personified content, and functionality of the uQudos website, and to send you correspondence. In this way it is possible for us to accommodate your requests and we are able to provide you with service when using the website. Amongst other things, we collect data from games developers in order to be able to supply information concerning the rating of their games and to be able to pay them a fee if necessary. In addition, we also use personal and other information to survey your opinion about our website and services from time to time.
   
   It is possible that uQudos may combine information that you supply with other data (for example, with information received by email or obtained offline) to optimise our services and to tailor them to accord with your personal requirements and preferences as far as possible.
   
   uQudos uses cookies and other techniques to obtain an insight into how the website is used, to ensure that it operates as best possible, and to develop new functionality. For example, now and then we compile anonymised user statistics using the information that we have obtained. 4. To whom does uQudos provide this information?
